You will say 'with me', 'with you' and 'with them' by joining -le/-la to the right form of each personal pronoun.
The idea
Add -le/-la to the genitive form of the pronoun, not to the bare pronoun: ben becomes benimle, sen becomes seninle, o becomes onunla, biz becomes bizimle and siz becomes sizinle. The last vowel decides the shape: -la after onun (likewise bunun, şunun), -le after the other forms. Onlar is the exception and takes the suffix directly: onlarla. Bu and şu behave like o: bununla, şununla.
| Pronoun | Form before the suffix | Suffix | With the pronoun |
|---|---|---|---|
| ben | benim | -le | benimle |
| sen | senin | -le | seninle |
| o | onun | -la | onunla |
| biz | bizim | -le | bizimle |
| siz | sizin | -le | sizinle |
| onlar | onlar | -la | onlarla |
| bu | bunun | -la | bununla |
Examples
- Bu akşam seninle yürüyoruz. We are walking with you this evening.
- Onunla her gün konuşuyoruz. We talk with him or her every day.Onunla covers 'with him', 'with her' and 'with it', because o has no gender. The suffix sits on onun, not on o.
- Ayşe benimle okula geliyor.Ayşe is coming to school with me.
- Bizimle sinemaya geliyor musun? Are you coming to the cinema with us?
- Çocuklar onlarla oynuyor. The children are playing with them.Onlarla is the exception: onlar is already plural and takes -la directly, with no genitive. Compare onunla, which names one person.
- Bununla ne yapıyorsun? What are you doing with this?Bu works like o: its genitive bunun plus -la gives bununla; şu gives şununla.

Watch out
Do not carry the genitive over to onlar: onlarla is right, onlarınla is not. Do not mix up onunla (with one person) and onlarla (with several) either. In casual speech you hear benle and senle, but in writing and careful speech it is benimle and seninle.
Try it yourself
Make 'with me' from ben (I).
Show answer or example answer
benimle
benimle: ben first becomes benim; that form ends in the consonant m and its vowel i is front, so -le follows with no y.
Make 'with him, with her' from o.
Show answer or example answer
onunla
onunla: o takes an n and becomes onun; its last vowel u is back, so -la follows, not -le.
Make 'with you' (plural or polite) from siz.
Show answer or example answer
sizinle
sizinle: siz becomes sizin and ends in the consonant n, so no y is needed; the front vowel i gives -le.
Make 'with them' from onlar.
Show answer or example answer
onlarla
onlarla: onlar is already plural and ends in r, so the suffix attaches directly with no genitive; the vowel a gives -la.
