A short polite call can secure a table and prevent misunderstandings.

The idea

Put the date and time before に, and use 二人で to give the party size. The staff may repeat the details with ですね for confirmation.

Examples

Excuse me, I would like to make a reservation.
Tomorrow at seven in the evening for two, please.
May I have your name, please?
It is Tanaka. Thank you.
That is a party of two at seven, under Tanaka, correct?
Yes, that is right, please.

Watch out

二人 means two people, not two tables. Check the date and time when they are repeated; a request is not yet a confirmed booking.
