A business call changes the perspective of politeness: your company is the in-group and the caller is outside it.

The idea

Use 申します to give your own name humbly. Use いらっしゃいます for someone at the other company, but ございます and おります for your own company and colleagues. 少々お待ちいただけますか politely asks the caller to hold.

Watch out

Do not honor your own colleague with いらっしゃいます when speaking to an outside caller, even if that colleague is your manager. Confirm a name or callback rather than guessing.
