A useful follow-up thanks the other party, recalls the shared topic and makes the next request concrete.
The idea
Use 議論を踏まえ to show that the proposal builds on the discussion. ご検討のうえ asks the recipient to consider it before responding; いただけますでしょうか softens the request.
Examples
Thank you for the opportunity to discuss a partnership the other day.
We are very interested in planning a joint event.
Based on our discussion that day, I am sending you a draft proposal.
I hope we can discuss the timing and division of responsibilities going forward.
Could you consider it and share your thoughts?
I would appreciate an opportunity to meet again next week.

Watch out
Interest and a draft do not mean the partnership is agreed. Present the schedule and responsibilities as points still to discuss.
