Turn survey findings into a short, clear report for a reader who needs the evidence and its limits.

The idea

State the subject and sample first. Use その結果 to introduce a finding, 一方 to contrast another, and ただし to qualify it. 結果を踏まえ links evidence to a measured proposal.

Examples

We surveyed 100 users about the library’s opening hours.
The results show that 60 people want longer evening hours.
In contrast, 20 people want longer morning hours.
However, the survey was conducted only on weekdays.
Therefore, weekend users’ opinions are not known.
Based on these results, extending evening hours may be worth considering.

Watch out

A majority in this sample is not proof of everyone’s preference. A weekday-only survey cannot establish weekend users’ views; distinguish results from interpretation.
