This B2 word set helps you read document names, identify the people mentioned and recognise property fields. The examples are invented language exercises, not instructions for a legal transaction.
The idea
Read each term by its function: noter names the notary; malik the owner; vekil the representative. Vekâletname is the document setting out representation, while tapu senedi is the property title deed. Asıl means the original and suret a copy in this context; onaylı suret specifies a certified copy. In property language, ada is a cadastral block, parsel a plot, and hisse an ownership share. Read labels such as parsel numarası as a unit: the number belongs to the plot.

Watch out
Do not read vekil as “owner”: being named as a representative does not itself mean being named as malik. Nor does the word suret by itself say that a copy is certified; that is what onaylı adds. A vocabulary exercise cannot establish whether a document is valid.
Try it yourself
Choose the word for owner: malik or vekil.
Show answer or example answer
malik
malik: the clue is ownership, so the field asks who owns the property. A person acting for someone else would be a vekil.
Choose the document describing representation: vekâletname or tapu senedi.
Show answer or example answer
vekâletname
vekâletname: the blank asks for a document describing representation. Vekil would name the person, not the document.
This is not the original. Complete with asıl or suret: This document is a ___.
Show answer or example answer
suret
suret: the sentence explicitly excludes the original and asks for the word meaning a copy. Nothing here says the copy is certified.
Complete the label for a plot number with ada or parsel: ___ numarası.
Show answer or example answer
parsel
parsel: the prompt names a plot, whereas ada identifies a cadastral block. In the label parsel numarası, the second word already carries the ending.
