Bilet means a ticket for travel or admission. Follow one ticket from purchase to inspection, then use the table to name its owner. The examples also show how to talk about more than one ticket.
The idea
Bilet keeps its final t before vowel endings: bileti, bilete, biletim. Its last vowel e gives front-vowel forms. In bilette and biletten, both the stem’s t and the suffix’s t are written. The plural is biletler; “our tickets” is biletlerimiz. After a number, use iki bilet.

Watch out
Bileti can be “the ticket” as an object or “his/her ticket”. Compare Bileti sakla (keep the ticket) with Onun bileti kayıp (his/her ticket is missing). To make that possessed ticket the object, use Onun biletini buldum: the possessive is followed by linking n and the accusative. Do not stop at bileti in that sentence.
Try it yourself
Complete with “ticket”: Keep this ticket. Write only the missing word.
Show answer or example answer
bileti
bileti: bu identifies the particular ticket to keep, so the object takes the accusative. This noun retains its final t before -i.
Complete with “on the ticket”: No date is written on the ticket.
Show answer or example answer
bilette
bilette: the blank names the surface where the date would appear. The stem ends in voiceless t, so the locative begins with t too; both letters stay.
Complete with “my ticket”, singular: My ticket stayed at home.

biletim
biletim: benim names the speaker as owner, and -im marks that ownership on the singular noun. The ticket is the subject here, so no accusative is needed.
Complete with “his/her ticket”, singular and as the object: I found his/her ticket.

biletini
biletini: onun identifies a third-person owner. Start with bileti for that person’s ticket, then add -n-i because the ticket is what was found.

Write a short exchange about a missing ticket: say whose it is, where it was, and who found it. Use one plural form, then mark the ownership and case endings separately.
