You will conjugate ağlamak in the present, past, future and negative, and say who cries, when and about what.
The idea
The stem of ağlamak is ağla-. The soft ğ is never replaced; the only change is the final a before -yor, which drops and leaves ı from harmony: ağl-ıyor-um. The past is -dı: ağladım. The future adds a buffer y, and the k of -acak softens to ğ before a vowel: ağlayacağım. The negative -ma- follows the stem: ağlamıyorum, ağlamadım. What moves you takes -e/-a (filme ağlamak); the person you cry for takes için.

Watch out
Learners keep the a and write ağlayorum, or drop the soft letter and write aglıyorum. Before -yor the final a disappears: ağlıyorum. The ğ is not a hard g; it only lengthens the a before it. And a film is not an object: filmi ağladım is wrong, you cry at it with -e.
