Dinlenmek describes taking time to recover your energy. You can rest while sitting, lying down or listening to music; the verb does not itself mean sleeping. The table gives affirmative forms for all six persons.
The idea
In the sense “to rest”, dinlenmek is intransitive: the subject is the person resting, with no direct object for “oneself”. Add a place, as in balkonda, or a duration, as in yarım saat. Keep the stem dinlen- in dinleniyorum, dinlendim and the habitual dinlenirim. The future forms for “I” and “we” are dinleneceğim and dinleneceğiz. Useful negatives are dinlenmiyorum, dinlenmedim and dinlenmem. A polite question is Biraz dinlenmek ister misiniz?

Watch out
Do not lose the second n: dinleniyorum means “I am resting”, whereas dinliyorum means “I am listening”, from dinlemek. In Dinlenirken müzik dinliyorum, both verbs have a job: resting is the situation, and music is what you listen to. Resting does not require sleep.
