yönlendirmek means to direct or steer someone or something. It can describe a physical route, a link to another page, or guidance towards an activity. The table gives the main forms for six persons.
The idea
Use an accusative object for the specific person or thing directed, and a dative for the destination: seni danışmaya yönlendirmek means to direct you to the information desk. An activity can be the goal too: araştırma yapmaya yönlendirmek. Keep the stem yönlendir- intact; the future ending softens in yönlendireceğim and yönlendireceğiz. With onlar, the table shows plural verbs; singular forms are also possible.

Watch out
Do not swap the two roles: seni is the person being directed, while sana can be the person someone is directed to. Seni ona yönlendirdim means I referred you to that person. Also, yönlendirmek does not necessarily mean managing someone; that is a different use of yönetmek.
