Practise a work conversation from the first request to a progress update. You will name the task, accept responsibility and say whether the result will be ready on time. The dialogue uses the informal singular between colleagues.
The idea
Pair the task with a clear action: üstlenmek means taking responsibility, tamamlamak means finishing, and teslim etmek means handing something over. Raporu yarına kadar tamamlayacağım commits to completion by tomorrow; it does not name an exact hour. Teslim tarihi identifies the handover date. Ask for a task with hazırlayabilir misin? and for a change with erteleyebilir miyiz?; the question word stays separate from the verb.

Watch out
Rapor üzerinde akşama kadar çalışacağım promises work until this evening, not a finished report. Use tamamlayacağım when you mean completion. If time is insufficient, yetiştiremeyeceğim signals that you will not manage to finish in time; henüz hazır değil merely reports that it is not ready yet.
